Our organization is supported solely by our team of volunteers. They invest their time for the sake of their families, their community, and the local businesses that our operations service. Being a team member for Food Rescue of Sky Valley is a rewarding experience!

A brief summary of membership responsibilities includes:

  • Donate a minimum 12 hours of scheduled work each month.
  • Maintain a current a Washington State Food Worker’s Card.
  • Provide evidence of license and auto insurance.
  • Yearly financial contribution of $200 required to help cover property tax, utilities, building maintenance, and other group expenses.
  • Participation in fundraising events and bi-annual group meetings.
  • Communication primarily through private facebook group required.

Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. Membership positions open as existing members withdraw from service. All applicants will be contacted as soon as possible; keep in mind that joining can at times be a significant wait, but is well worth it!
